Like many people I love to spend my Sunday morning relaxing over a delicious breakfast, however, these days mine is a lot healthier than it used to be. I’ve cut out the bread completely, make my own baked beans, inspired by Angelique’s recipe. For my own interest I entered my meal into Myfitnesspal and also that of a moderate fry up. I could not believe the difference.
My healthy breakfast has 309 calories vs the fry up having 701 calories, my sugar intake is half that of the fry up. The only area where my breakfast is higher is the fat, due to the avocado the nutritional benefits of which are totally worth the extra fat.
